For almost 50 years, the values of innovation, knowledge, and customer service have been at the heart of everything we do at Golden Coast. And this legacy only deepened when we became part of Pollet Pool Group in 2022. The GC Academy represents the next stage in our journey, part of our ongoing mission to offer the very best value and service to our customers.
Based on the same foundations as the industry-leading PPG Academy in Waregem, Belgium, the GC Academy offers a choice of tailor-made training programmes in our state-of-the-art facility, suitable for everyone from beginners to experts looking to refresh their knowledge.
The result of several years worth of dreaming, scheming, and planning, the Academy opened its doors on May 14th, 2024: a cutting-edge facility where wet leisure professionals can gain hands-on experience with the products and tools at the forefront of the industry.

Introducing the GC Academy: a hands-on training facility designed to empower and inform our customers through a range of immersive educational experiences. At Golden Coast, our customers come first. Which means we’re not just about making sales; we want to equip you with the tools that you need to deliver the best possible service. And that means ensuring that you know our products inside out – just like we do.
Our facility
The GC Academy in Newbury is set over two floors and features the very latest in wet leisure tech. On the upper floor, a specialised training room equipped with live controllers enables first-hand learning experiences in programming and trouble-shooting. Meanwhile, on the ground floor, a purpose-built swimming pool showcases the latest innovations in lighting, covers, and flow fittings, as well as a fully functioning pool plant. The addition of a fully operational Tylö sauna, allows us to demonstrate the installation and functionality of sauna heaters.
