Counter currents add flexibility

When health and fitness is a priority for customers, counter current jets allow them to bring the workout of a competition pool to their home… in a fraction of the space.

Golden Coast managing director Jamie Adams explains: “In the UK, space comes at a premium – no more so than when you are working with an existing pool. For owners looking to build fitness by swimming laps, a small pool can be limiting.

“Fortunately, through our range of BADU Jet counter current units, they can experience the pleasure of swimming in a full-length pool without lots of hassle and added expense. What’s more, these jets unlock a host of other benefits…”

Customers looking to impress? The award-winning BADU Jet Vogue, which features first-class stainless steel, gives any pool the ‘wow’ factor. While Vogue allows swimmers to burn calories by swimming against a continuous current, it also offers the option of a pulsating or relaxing massage – perfect for easing aches and pains. While the Vogue is available with stainless steel handrails as an option, its stablemate, the BADU Jet Vogue Deluxe, also comes with an air regulator, control buttons and adjustable nozzle which are all crafted from stainless steel to ensure a sleek and timeless look.

The powerful BADUJet Wave counter swim unit offers brings together everything your customers are looking for in a ‘dream pool: underwater massage, gentle waves and endless no-lap swimming. Its intelligent air intake means that water flow can be customised to the customer’s need: from champagne tingles to bubble bath. Units also include built-in LED lights – in clean white or multicolour – that visibly transform the pool in the evening.

The two-jet Primavera is a high-efficiency, submerged unit with a fully adjustable volume stream of up to approximately 75m3/hour. With stainless steel cover and handrails, its classic looks ensure easy integration into any pool. Ergonomic handrails are included as standard – ensuring easy-grip during massages and aqua aerobics. Featuring bright-white LEDs as standard, customers have the option of multicolour lighting.

While the BADUJet Classic may have just one nozzle, it is a true competitor, thanks to a very powerful jet pump (approximately 54m3/hr for single phase and 58m3/hr for three phase). This means anything is possible: from powerful massage to tingling bubbles.

When retrofit is the only option, BADUJet offer three over-the-wall units: Perla (40m3/hr), Riva (54-58m3/hr) and Stella (75m3/hr). Streamlined and compact, these series offers adjustable flow rates, directional nozzles and power controls . In addition, built-in lights are available with the choice of moonlight white or multicolour.
