Golden Coast features in the South West category, having been noted for its strong family ties. Established by David Adams in 1977 as a pool, spa and sauna installation business, Golden Coast is now run by David’s sons Jamie, Shaun and Dominic.
Over the years the company has grown significantly to become the UK’s largest independent distributor to the wet leisure industry. Today Golden Coast provides trade customers with a vast selection of products for swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas and spas, including some of the world’s biggest brands of lighting, heaters, cleaning equipment, water treatment solutions and accessories.
Talking about being shortlisted, Jamie Adams, Managing Director at Golden Coast said “We are really proud of what Golden Coast has achieved over the last few decades, and it means a lot to be nominated and now shortlisted for South West Family Business of the Year,” said . “The company was built on the ethos of delivering outstanding products and customer service, and we’re dedicated to continuing that.”

The Family Business of the Year Awards 2020 was going to take place in London on 4th June 2020 but due to restrictions associated wit the COVID-19 pandemic will now be an on-line event.
